Modified on: Fri, 19 Nov, 2021 at 5:37 PM

1.Sign a verifiable message using the address that is tied to the contract address with a message that indicates you are releasing your ownership of the contract address.

(Refer: How to sign a message using MyCrypto)

  1. The signed message should follow the template below:
[Polygonscan.io dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss] I, hereby verify that I am the owner/creator of the token contract address [contract address] and I hereby release my user account [Polygonscan Username] as the verified owner of [contract address].
  1. Try to verify the signed message first using our Verified Signature tool here before proceeding to the next step.

*Disclaimer: Kindly be informed that you will be directed to Etherscan to verify the signed message as the tool is not available on Polygonscan.

  2. Once you are able to verify the message, email us the entire signed message details including its "address", "msg", and "sig" (also called the signature hash).

*You can contact us via our contact form here
